I came to the legal profession quite late in life, only going to university to study law when I was 40. I qualified in 2002, having done a three year degree, an LLB, a Legal Practice course and a two year training contract. I worked exclusively in Wills and Probate for the rest of my career. Amongst other roles, I was head of a Probate team with Raleys in Barnsley.
I retired in 2017, but have found that long term retirement really doesn’t suit me!
I have joined the Society of Will Writers, which allows me to continue doing the work I have loved for a very long time.
My work is fully insured and I keep up to date with developments in my area of law by way of Continuing Professional Development.
When I am not working I am an avid reader – mostly crime novels!
